Amendments to Stewiacke's Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law
Stewiacke Town Council intends to consider, and if deemed advisable, adopt the following:
1. Amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy and the Land Use By-law to permit by site plan approval a maximum of three horses on a lot in the Residential General (R-2) Zone having a minimum area of one acre, and
2. An amendment to the Land Use By-law to rezone part of the lot PID #20471033 from the Highway Commercial (C-.2) Zone to the Multiple Mid Rise Residential (R3B) Zone so that all of the property will be zoned R3B.
3. An amendment to the Land Use By-law to rezone a property bounded by Hwy #2, Joffre St, and the Riverside Ave (PID #20121877) for the General Residential (R-2) Zone to the Low Rise Multi-Unit Residential (R-3A) Zone.
A virtual public hearing on these amendments will be held on May 26, 2022 at 6:30pm.
