What's Going on in Central Nova Scotia

Things may be cooling down weather wise but the music scene in Central Nova this week is hot, hot, hot!

Nova Scotia Music Week kicks off in Truro today and goes full tilt until Sunday with several venues around town showcasing the best of our homegrown talent.  Check out www.nsmw.ca for a complete schedule.

The Fraser Cultural Centre in Tatamagouche is hosting an African Drumming Workshop tonight and tomorrow night Tatamagouche will also be hopping as The Stadacona Band takes the stage at the Grace Jollymore Joyce Centre.

Drop by Roadside Willie’s in Bible Hill on Saturday and hear the sweet sounds of the baby grand as Doris Mason tickles the ivories.

The Truro Royal Canadian Legion will be hosting the 5th Annual Salute to Veterans Concert on Sunday.  Veterans, spouses and care-givers are invited free of charge, others by donation.

Don’t forget that Wednesday’s in Amherst are always alive with the sounds of Dick’s Jamboree.

Central Nova Tourism Festivals and Events check out their site.
