When can I expect my tax bill?
All property owners and businesses will receive their Interim Tax Bill on April 30th based on the current year, and the Final Tax Bill will be issued August 31st of the current year. The Interim Tax Bill is based on 50% of the Assessed Taxed Value. Changes will not be reflected until the Final Tax bill in August.

Water bills are sent out quarterly: March, June, September and December

The Nova Scotia Utility Review Board requires the Town of Stewiacke Water Utility to charge a refundable deposit in the amount of $231.42. The Nova Scotia Utility Review Board is the regulatory body for all utilities.

Where do I register my dog?
All dog owners are required to have their dog(s) registered by March 1st of each year. Registration may be completed at the Town Office. The renewal fee is $15.00 per year.
