Stewiacke Community Garden
Announcing the opening of the Stewiacke Community Garden! Applications for a garden bed will be available at the Stewiacke town office, the Town of Stewiacke website, and the Community Garden Facebook page. Applications will be available from May 1st to May 24th. All successful applicants will be notified by May 31st.
The goal of this garden is to provide community members with space to grow fresh affordable vegetables, learn about sustainability and build community spirit.
Through the collaborate efforts of the Town of Stewiacke and the Stewiacke Garden Club; a community garden is well on its way to being ready for this growing season.

Planned Power Outage Nova Scotia Power April 27th, 2024
Nova Scotia Power will be performing a brief power interruption on Saturday, April 27th from 7:00 AM to 7:15 AM that will have an impact on the Town of Stewiacke.
We will be working on a section of the main transmission line that runs through the area and this outage will be an approximate 15 minute switching procedure to isolate the section we will be working on.
